Teenage Kicks
In November 2005 un1que was no more! As well as un1que, un2que was established. The latest ‘addition’ was fronted by none other than Joe Macindoe. Rapidly gaining a well deserved reputation as not only being one of the youngest DJ’s around, Joe was rightly recognised as one to watch.
Having successfully entertained party goers at The Marcliffe at Pitfodels for two consecutive December’s for the Festive Season (2005 and 2006), Joe was, and still is, equally at home playing music at Engagement Parties, 21st Birthday Parties, Wedding Receptions - when he can be dragged out of the pub and club scene (DJ’ing, of course!). Joe reckons James McAvoy’s wedding at Drumtochty Castle (November 2006) was a definite highlight and claim to fame – one to ‘drop into’ any conversation.
Finally, what goes around comes around…. Joe is now working for Touch of Class, once the “old man’s” company. He can however, on the very odd occasion, be persuaded to return to un1que when asked to ‘do his stuff’ (usually by request) at an 18th or 21st where there are guaranteed girls and beers present!
